“Stop looking. She’s the one. Amanda made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I told her my insecurity about photo taking and she worked with me the day of to remind me to place my body in a way that my photographs wouldn’t reflect it. She spent the whole day with me and my girls while we got ready and although we ran behind a few times, I wasn’t stressed and Amanda definitely played a role in that. She is worth every single penny, not only for her work but definitely her dedication and that unlimited hours package. I loved not being on a time table like I was with everything else for my day.” – Courtney Russo

Going through my check list and every meeting Courtney and I had, I was prepared.

I arrived at the bridal suite, to Backstreet Boys blaring, and girls being pampered. YES! I have arrived, the butterflies were gone and I was in creative mode. As the sun glistened through the window perfectly I was able to capture sweet memories of the details Courtney and her girls, had chosen over the months of planning. The random Batman figurines hidden throughout the ceremony and reception area for her Groom to find.  The men got ready down the hall and boy did they have a surprise for me when I arrived. Under there tailored suite was their true identity. I now understood why batman figurines were so important to have at their wedding.  It was them!

The ceremony was romantic and tears shed as Courtney’s mother watched as the maid of honor. Courtney’s brothers walking her down the aisle, to a beautiful song chosen by them. Formals were fun as we used the planning forms to plan out the fun and traditional formals in plenty of time to spare for travel to the beautiful water fountain. I could not forget Courtney’s favorite movie bridesmaids, that pose was fun to recreate. However, even though we were planning far in advance, we cannot control mother nature. The sun sets so early in the fall, I could not interrupt the ceremony to get a sun set photo, so I improvised. This is when the moonlight photos were born!

Courtney and Mike really had a personalized wedding, but nothing could prepare their guest for the romantic surprise they had in store during their first dance. DJ Mike Obara, spend hours recording and editing their words into their song flawlessly. Listen for yourself, by clicking here! I cry every time, and the emotion throughout their photos show that personalized touch they added to their day. I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of their day and watching their love being celebrated. This is why I wake up every day and push myself to learn more about photography, and meet more brides to help and why I specialize in weddings with my husband DJ Mike Obara.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_masonry_media_grid style=”all” items_per_page=”10″ element_width=”6″ gap=”5″ filter_size=”md” button_style=”rounded” button_color=”blue” button_size=”md” arrows_design=”none” arrows_position=”inside” arrows_color=”blue” paging_design=”radio_dots” paging_color=”grey” loop=”” autoplay=”-1″ item=”masonryMedia_Default” include=”2452,2453,2454,2455,2456,2457,2458,2459,2460,2461,2462,2463,2464,2465,2466,2467,2468″][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
